I need to install a few disconnects inside CT scan rooms and Mri rooms. They are installling lead on outside walls of room and covering the jboxes. I am not sure how to proceed with installation of disconnects inside the room. Would the disconnects need to be sheilded also as it enters the room or does the entire disconnect need to be shielded also? I dont have much experience with this type installation. I could use some help.

In the CT rooms you will need to shield any penetrations through the lead envelope regardless of size, this includes mounting screws. In the MRI room you should have an engineer or the MRI manufacturer tell you what to do. You don't have to worry about lead shielding but metal objects within the magnet room is a dangerous proposition if not done correctly.
