Is it legal to use a 2 or 3 pole breakers in lieu of handle ties, when shared neutrals are present?

Thank you. Can you give me the code reference?
In other words. You don't know.

The same Code citation you are using to use handle ties is the citation that allows the use of common trip multipole circuit breakers. Strathead is correct. All that is needed for the Code minimum is the single movement of the hand. . . this also allows the handle of a fused safety switch or the pull-out of a multi-fuse block or a non-fused multipole pullout. In other words. You are such a nice guy Dave! I am glad to see that there are at least a couple more curmudgeons like me here.
