The drain coming out of the floor next to it is for a washing machine the customer says she'll wait for the inspector to fail her before she decides to move her sink or move the panels

There are so many other things wrong with this job it's to much to get into but this is awesome

If the sink cabinet were modified so that it did not protrude into the working space there would be no problem with it, and if the washing machine is at least 3' in front of the panel it would be fine as well.

The washing machine will be at the extreme left of the photo, nowhere close to the panel(s). You can just see the recessed area where the hot and cold water connections will be made.

Commercial space.. that's inside a break room of a spa.. when you say the cabinet could be modified I'm confused do you mean cut the back of the cabinet and push it closer to the wall so the front of it is not protruding in front of the panel ?

Rodger in order for it to not be in the working space the front of it would have to be 18 in to the left of the panel correct ?

I think that's what roger is driving at, but just eyeballing that sink I don't think you'd have very much meat on the backside, and you'd probably have to trim the front. Not to mention moving all the legs, somehow. Not worth it. Let the inspector give them the bad news. If you've warned them, you should have a clear conscience.

Yeah we already measured we basically have to take the entire back and a few inches off the front off of the sink which wouldn't leave enough room for Hardware

Yes and it appears to be more that three feet in front of the panel gauging from the sink cabinet.

The problem is after they fail this I'm going to have to fix it.. the customers already said that if the inspector doesn't like it she'll have me spin the panels around to face the room on the other side...

No, the 30" working space can start at the edge of the panel and go to the right.

Is she under the ludicrous impression you'll do this for free?!?

Also the plumber should have known better

Something you may want to check on; did the owner hire their Brother-in-Law to do the plumbing, and did he "piggyback" onto YOUR permit? That could end up looking like you were the contractor for the plumbing too. I've seen that happen in the past, although MOST places have safeguards against that now.
