Surely this is a typo ... "15"![]()
violation yes ,... end of the world ??? nope.
I measured the load at the panel. the 10.2a disposal never went over 5 amps.
The 9 amp dw never went above 6 amps and when it was just runing through the cycle was just over 2. The higest combined ampere total was under 11 amps.
Plug 'em in....Done.

I think it's a shame you didn't ask at rough. Lack of a disposal in a new kitchen is a red flag.
My dishwasher has a display that flasshes when power is lost. 3 way would be a good idea if not for that. I have heard of an air switch that plugs right in line with the receptical. You could tap off the 20 amp sabcs if no one was looking. Thank god disposals are illegal in suffolk county so even if it were an issue it would never hold water because they are illegal in the first place.Your not exactly off the hook yet. That gd and dw both have name plates for over 50%. A sharp inspector should fail you. The 3 way is only legal easy fix. Who's fault ? No not legally yours but your to blame for not going to the GC when this still was cheap to fix. The guy that needs to pick up the cost drew the plans. So now it all works and passed, tell me what happens when they sell this house and new buyer hires one of them HI guys that might actually know something. My opinion is you had no violation untill they added and plugged in the GD. My answer to GC would been that my install is legal. His misuse of that duplex is whats illegal. Will it work ? Yes, but still could come back on you someday. Who is to blame ? Start with arc.,GC ,home buyer, inspectors (for not catching). You simply can't add extras and not get paid. Will say you messed up in not opening your mouth to suggest it. Now bottom line is you might end up not getting more work from the gc. Everyone involved is passing the buck and your trying to do it too. Learn from it and move on. Start right now by making a clear paper trail on this job and keep on file. You might need it years down the road.

Nope none. Except of course for the six 20 amp circuits feeding the counter use receptacles.
Must be one helluva big kitchen!
It is, or Scott just loves overkill.![]()
I did. You say you asked for specs. Big deal. A missing disposal should have made you inquire.
