Charlie,

Not to cause too much of a furor, but some Marines I know consider "active in the Navy" to be an oxymoron. ;)

Oops, did I just steer this topic in a different direction? And when, I was growing up, my Dad was a LT CMDR jg.

Charlie,
My error on the rank (I haven't thought about it for too many years). At one time, Dad was a Navy doctor assigned to Marine bases, Camp Pendelton and the Mohave air base.

In Wisconsin, it is 8' mandated by the state.

I was going to say that we were always told the the Navy was a department of the Marine Corps, but after your statement Charlie, I won't.

How about the joke, that if NEC compliance provides a safe installation, why are there so many changes each year. Or, if the NEC grows each year at its present rate, how long will it take before it becomes as complex, inconsistant, and impractical as the IRS Code.

Just another state level correction:

Last I heard NY state was considering exempting smokes in bedrooms from the AFCI requirement (They have been holding off on the Entire AFCI requirement, might be there now though?)

Allen I was a crew dog on A10 and F15 a,c,and e's. did you spend time in PI? If you can change a battery in a F4, you can do any thing electical.
