where does it say how many NM-B can fit in these?
I had a local AHJ inspector call me for a reference in NEC because one of their junior inspectors was calling out these crammed packed going into a sub-panel. I couldn't recall any NEC section expect finding a means of securing them. I referred them to the manufacture of the bushing to see if they had a listing, turned up nothing. Any help on this pointing the inspectors (AHJ) to a code would be great so I can pass it along. I laughed when I heard what they were calling as we segregate them out with NM-B clamps. These EC's I guess are out of towners low balling local EC's.Hopefully you are planning to use those to pass through a metal stud or similar and not to enter a box/enclosure.
312.5(C) would prohibit using those as the point of entry into a panel.I had a local AHJ inspector call me for a reference in NEC because one of their junior inspectors was calling out these crammed packed going into a sub-panel. I have used them for LV wiring entering boxes. What is the use for these, other than through metal studs?
