My last post died a fiery death, likely because I asked too many questions at once in a confusing way. :ashamed1: So, here is the main question, what are the requirements for an outdoor subpanel that has 2x 120V 20A (5-20) circuits and 2x 240V 20A (6-20L) circuits. Panel is located in open air (secured to a cemented post) and is fed from the main panel in my house, 200ft away. The cable that is already installed is type xhhw-2, (4x8ga and 1x10ga).
From reading the 2011 edition of NEC, I cant seem to figure out if I need to have the GFCI in the main panel in the house or if I need to have individual GFCIs on each circuit.
Ive installed many subpanels and replaced several old FPE boxes in my area but I have not run into this situation before.
Thank you in advance
