By all means give the man what he wants. If someone has money they need to spend you are obligated to help them.

No code issue. I would wirenut the 10 home run to the downstream 12 in the first box and pigtail to the receptacle with 12. It is no fun trying to fold 10 back in the box with a receptacle attached.

But you can't use ordinary wire nuts, they must have gold plated spring inside them.

I would suggest this be installed in EMT and preferable in rigid and nothing under #6 thhn/thwn.Breaker it at 60 amps cause last thing we want is for the dang thing to trip in the middle of a song. Wish I could find a ID 10 T like this.
Actually had one nut that had us run MC for sterio cause wanted it shielded. This was a doctors house. Same lady bought the house next door and bull dozed it down because it was not good enough to be next to hers.

All this guy really needs is a UPS with serge protection where the equipment is located. That $200 will save equipment. A 80 foot HR might be worth up size but I would pigtail if not a dedicated receptacle. And this would be a dedicated circuit.

Gold combo-head screws for a totally engineered product.
Don't forget the Cryo-bit:
