After I did this thought of a bit cheaper way. Twas a long time ago, before this stuff and convenient shopping. But would have went out the back with 1 and LB out the side with the other one instead of this raceway. service 400.JPG

With the integral O ring on a Meyers hub I wouldn't be relying on it too much for bonding either.

Jap
Right, but you are required to bond the raceway. If both ends have that stupid gasket - sooner or later the raceway isn't bonded very well even if you pulled a green inside.

Power Company's overhead drops most generally attach to Service Masts.
Most Service Masts are required to be Rigid conduit.
Rigid conduit is compatible with most hubs unlike EMT Compression or RT connectors.

Thus our dilemma.

JAP>
If the "Mast" is supporting the service drop yes. If the drop is anchored to the building many will just run EMT for the raceway going up to the drop.

Inspector tried to reject this UL approved product. "It's approved. Do you have you're own listing lab in your basement?"

The inspection authority has to approve everything per 110.2 and there is no requirement that the inspection authority approve listed products. They should, but they are not required to do so.

These sealing washers work well and spec sheet calls out using for sealing fittings to enclosures.
Last time I looked at instructions for sealing washers, they said to put the washer on the outside of the enclosure against the fitting.
