Hi,
I haven't installed a service in a while and someone asked me for a number.
I'm not asking what you charge, but rather I am asking what increased percentage overall would you say you're charging today 3-2-22 compared to 3-2-20?
Remove existing 100 amp service. Install new 200 amp.
I did some Googleing for rough material prices and what I'm charging for my current labor rate and the price blows me away.
I recall years ago hearing contractors charging or quoting the number I currently came up with thinking at the time they where out of their minds.
I understand it's going to be what it's going to be, the number I come up with is around +- 65% more (+- 70% mat. +- 35% labor)( In NJ, regular breakers, no exterior emergency switch, added spd). I would like to confirm that these numbers are inline for the times we are in and that "I'm" not necessarily in left field.
Thank you
