A plastic holding tank with 2 bulb floats, each swithing 1 leg of 2 separate 240v/20amp circuits, controling 2 separate pumps.Keep in mind that all of the plumbing is done in PVC pipe up to the pressure pump then it changes to copper on the discharge side and supplies the residience. In this situation 1 of the SJOW cords became frayed and 1 of the wires inside contacted the water and didnt blow the 2 pole 20amp breaker.I didnt realize there was a problem until i touched a brass valve that was a drain for the tank and felt tingle. The copper in the residence is grounded per code. There are no grounds in the SJOW cords, but even there was it would be sealed up in the bulb?Any help would be great.
