How much is it?

How much is it?

I have never used or even seen one. Their must be some sort of battery in their. That gets charged through surges.
These types of items will probably become more and more popular.
I know some contractors building what they are calling green homes. Built to save energy. With all new insulations. Reusable water. etc...
They make Led lights for recessed H7 Halo's.
This item you found would also be a good selling point for one of these green homes.

Sorry, but the payback period for the piece of "equipment" is going to be substantial...on the order of 30 years at least. The savings claims of 8%, 10%, and 25% are all very high.

Notice that the return policy says you can't return it if you open it, find out it does not work the way they say, and want to get your money back.

These things are filled with half truths such as it probably does contain capacitors and they do store energy, but not like a battery. And capacitors are used to improve power factor, but all residential and many commercial customers are not penalized for power factor. They only pay for real power, kilo-watt-hours.

When held up to scrutiny, these devices do not pass the mustard.

I'm not suprised. You would probably be better off with solar panels.

Talking about getting a return on your money.
Those LED's I mentioned for H7- Halo's , They come made in to the lens at about $85 ea.

Resist

Resist

These devices are all scams. They are probably a capacitor and their claim is for improved power factor. We have an on-going forum on these snake oil devices. Notice in the ad it is all claims and no description, no documentation.

Here is my personal testimonial, that I guarantee is totally true, because I said it, "There is a sucker born every minute and a fool and his money are soon parted."

Send me all your money and I guarantee you will lose weight! (You will be unable to buy food and will go hungry. But, that is the fine print!)

I kind of want to get one and try it out to really see what kind of savings I would get.
I recommend that you don't. You will not get any savings, and you will lose your $300. If you need something to do with that kind of money, let me give the name of the charitable organization to which I belong - we gladly accept donations. Or I am sure you can find other worthy causes to which you can donate the money. :)

It's a scam, carefully crafted by lawyers to avoid prosecution, but essentially worthless in residential applications. They don't save '"energy" in 99.99999% of industrial applications either, but industrials can get hit with power factor penalties, so they can theoretically save $$ in that case.

Discussed many times, even once specifically to that brand;

And a different forum with lots more information on these types of scams...

You will see (if you bother checking these out) that NOBODY says they will save energy.

Want to save energy? Use the #1 energy saver in the history of the world...
