Thanks for the tip on the Hilti driver attachement. We have the TE905 but not the ground rod driver attachment that slide s on the ground rod.

I priced the ground rod attachement for the Hilti TE905, about $419, but if I know Hilti call the rep and he'll throw in some bits...
 
One of the guys at the supply house said he got a call from the inspector. Inspector says did you cut that ground rod off.
He says oh no .
Inspector says. We'll I was just wondering what this 3 ft. piece of a ground rod was doing leaning up against the wall here.:wink:
 
I have used hammers, water, home made fence post driver style rod drivers, and even spun a few in with a hole hawg drill, but nowadays I just use my Hilti with a rod driver bit....
