Same here. I've used hot-melt glue to affix 18-2 lamp cord for under-cabinet lighting.iwire said:I can't say I have never used glue for electrical work.

Dennis Alwon said:Is this pvc conduit passing thru into the ceiling?? If it is there may be structural things to think about that may cause you issues tight in the corner.
kornbln said:Nope. It's exterior.
My next question - what method do you all prefer for screwing into stucco?
kornbln said:Dennis,
Wood framing... So it's probably stucco, scratch coat, wire mesh, tar paper/vapor barrier. So pretty much just plaster (or whatever it's made out of) is what I have to work with to attach to right?
M. D. said:I thought PVC supports had to allow it to expand ?? Perhaps not.
"...... shall be fastened so that movement from thermal expansion or contraction is permitted...."
Dennis Alwon said:Use a long screw and catch the framing, esp. if you are in the corner.
kornbln said:I'm refering more to the part that wont be in the corner... just wide open stucco area
Dennis Alwon said:I would try to find the studs. Stucco won't hold much unless their is wood sheathing behind it.
