PVC in attics

Is it allowable to use PVC in a commercial attic? (Running 250 AL in 2 1/2 inch gray PVC to a 200 amp subpanel)

In general it is allowed however there may be something about being in the fire district. Around here I believe certain buildings cannot have PVC because of the toxicity of the plastic. Art. 352.12 only has a few places where it is not allowed. I would check with the building inspection or electrical inspector for that area.
