When you cut EMT you should always ream it correct? Would the same go for RTRC conduit? THanks

Applies to RMC, IMC, PVC, etc.

EMT

358.28 Reaming and Threading
(A) Reaming. All cut ends of EMT shall be reamed or otherwise
finished to remove rough edges.

RTRC

355.28 Trimming. All cut ends shall be trimmed inside
and outside to remove rough edges.

Reaming isn't a general requirement, but cleaning up rough edges is. With respect to RTRC, see Section 355.28. I wouldn't normally respond to this thread, but I was just recently associated with a project that installed several thousand feet of RTRC.

Great so maybe you can shed some light. RTRC has a belled end and this is how it is joined together(with epoxy), correct? When you entered an enclosure/box what did you use? A box connector/adapter? Thanks.

You will definitely need to read the manufacturer's installation instructions in conjunction with Articles 355 & 100.3(B). There are several means of connecting the product including adhesives and various forms of threading.
