When you cut EMT you should always ream it correct? Would the same go for RTRC conduit? THanks

Applies to RMC, IMC, PVC, etc.
EMT
358.28 Reaming and Threading
(A) Reaming. All cut ends of EMT shall be reamed or otherwise
finished to remove rough edges.
RTRC
355.28 Trimming. All cut ends shall be trimmed inside
and outside to remove rough edges.
Reaming isn't a general requirement, but cleaning up rough edges is. With respect to RTRC, see Section 355.28. I wouldn't normally respond to this thread, but I was just recently associated with a project that installed several thousand feet of RTRC.
