I was just looking for help. I heard a guy could get that here. Actually, I lost my watch in a bet. I had bet someone that you had to install receptacle outlets with the ground up. :D

Re: RETRACTION

Ground down! Ground down! Always!

I got a new watch for Christmas. It's cool. I can store phone numbers on it. I can even tell you the time in Bangkok.

Re: RETRACTION

I love a good timepiece. Got a couple Omega product guides with the glossy photos here just in case I ever decide a watch is worth $2000 and up.

Re: RETRACTION

Only because I bought the 2005, and my buddy is going to test from the 2002 soon. Believe me, only a code geek would desire to have a codebook in the house and in the truck.

Been thinking about telling him to buy his own! :D

Re: RETRACTION

But George, the ones in the truck and in the house, are they the same year?

Re: RETRACTION

Well, if they were the same year you could have been issued blanket credential into the code geek elite inner sanctum.

Ooooh ooooh...a real topic for discussion!! :D

ghelec,

Do you have local code ammendment that requires receptacles to be installed ground up? Or is the inspector just enforcing his preferences?

Re: RETRACTION

Probably think flipping a receptacle over reverses polarity.

We flip our switched outlets over to mark them--I bet that would really tick him off!

Re: RETRACTION

It is in the city code,Texas just adopted statewide licensing in September and our town never had a licensing as some of the larger cities. The city drew up a code and started requiring permits and city inspections.

I can even tell you the time in Bangkok.
I just noticed that George. That's where my helper's been for the last two or three monthes. Owes me ten bucks too. :D He even speaks Thai. I've tried to hire him to cuss people out in Thai. (Only people that deserve it). He still hasn't agreed to though.

I am not a Code geek.

I am not a Code geek.

I am not a Code geek.

I am not a Code geek.

I only have about 15 Code books between home and my office.

I am not a Code geek.
