RGS vs. EMT conduit ground

We decided to change all the electrical conduit for our sort area from RGS to EMT. We currently do not install separate ground wires in our conduit system. Since we are going to use EMT, is a separate ground wire required by the NEC?

Not if you comply with 250.118, but I recommend one.
