So, this is just gonna be a rant against GE, boring.
They can easily say "for model A breakers" "For model C breakers" I mean the do it for the trip curves.
So, a little effort on your part to help members out is not worth it to you, okay...sorry I asked.
Doesn't when, as in this case, both have the same part number and SKU.
True, but they could at least say model A and model C. But yahhh, its kind of hard to get what you need when its the same number for 3 different breakers.
Insanity and disdain...both fit this.
Thats what I'm saying. New breakers will work with the new hold downs (gold) but not the old hold downs meant for the plus panels.
Errrr... its not that. More along the lines of lazy. And I'm not the best with Excel.
Geez, those poor slobs, really hitched their wagon to a star...from an OOB Rexel to a GE-only supply house. What's in their future.....selling used FPE and Zinsco panels?Ok, I understand now. I don’t know enough about GE to know this had changed, neither does my supplier.
I have to say this to be fair to them; all these guys came from Rexel when they went out of business. A new company came to town and hired all of them, and GE was the only company that would give them a distributorship, so all of us are unfamiliar with this brand.

That is the problem. Others make minor upgrades to products as well and if different accessories are needed to go with the upgraded versions they usually make new part numbers for such accessories.True, but they could at least say model A and model C. Haha.... well, I think it’s a good company, and they provide me excellent service. It’s a small family owned distributor with about 20 branches around the state. Most of them are Square D, but we already had three other Square D distributors and two Eaton distributors. We have an acct at another supply house for Square D, but they didn’t have any of the breaker retaining kits in-stock the day I needed to get it.
Edit to add.... I followed these same guys from Hughes went they went out of business also. So I’ve been working with them for years and it was a relationship worth keeping.

Yep. Young Padawan must learn Master Yoda. No?
Do, or do not. There is no "try".
