Aren't the nipples or conduits threads only tapered for the 3/4" that's in the cutting teeth? After that, it's "straight thread" anyway, amirite?

All I know is when we thread a piece of robroy or rigid on the 535, the mechanics use that same die when they run stainless or carbon for air or water or whatever... so it would appear to be the same.
 
I always liked rigid nipples o_O (sorry moderator, just had to say it)

My mind didn't go there, either.
