Here's one I have been involved with this week. Lightning strike caused an arc in the 1000amp switch gear which in turn set a battery bank on fire. The ground fault also arced on the gen. set next to the lower radiator house causing a hole in the hose.The 500kw Gen. set cranked but ran hot causing the piston to come through the side.

Some guy out here that lives on the top of a big hill had a TV antenna on top of his roof and it got nailed by lightning. Fried a bunch of stuff.

Fun stuff. That in Concord? I had some calls for replacement breakers with a similar story friday.
