George,

Those exact words scrolled through my head as I was looking at DA's design. Your post made me laugh out loud, drawing strange looks. Dennis gets my vote...very top secret.:grin:

I know they'd be a little more money to make, but why not a '3-D' logo? The 'image' changes depending on the angle you view it from:

I like the logo, but the core of my soul cries out in anguish at the thought of encouraging people to come to the site to discuss something I'm gonna slam the door on in a heartbeat. :D :D

Well, you know that and I know that, but why not enlighten others about the fact that there's no rule concerning it?

At least I didn't use a union/nonunion image. :grin:

Besides, it's isn't a final design, just a suggestion. I could always make it without the "Let's discuss it", and remove Mikes' name, so it would just be the duplex image and the 'ground up/ground down'. That would make it 'secret'.

I've been in touch with the original poster. (Side note: you mind disclosing your first name publicly? Your handle is a mouthful. ) After the new year, this thread will be closed and I will start a new thread with all the submissions received with a sticky private poll.

Then, he'll send Mike Holt the results and Mike can do something with it if he still feels like it, I imagine.

My attempt at posting a picture didn't work.

Anyway I had thought about a lightning bolt,kinda horizontal,with MIKE over HOLTS' in the center with CODE on the left and FORUM on the right with the words " KEEPING TODAYS ELECTRICIAN " over the top and " UP TO CODE " below the design . The lettering would be either white or yellow with the background color being black.

Can anyone draw this up and put it on the forum for me ?
