I was gonna run #3 copper thhn in conduit for a 100amp service. Does stranded vs solid matter?
(C) Stranded Conductors. Where installed in raceways,

required elsewhere in this Code to be solid, shall be
stranded.
If it is outdoors in a conduit then it must have a "W" in it. Most THHN wire is dual rated as THWN also.Thhn or thwn? Not sure because the drip loop is exposed to the weather
Man up. Wear gloves if you have to.Well 3 solid is a bit tough to get in a conduit.
When you mentioned the #3 solid I wondered where in the world you would find that animal.
And if you did find that animal it is likely to be bare conductor instead of insulated.
