All that does is make me upset that you aren't trying. I have no problem passing an installation, its when they do STUPID things like this that I get upset. After all, all you are doing is wasting me time, aren't you?

Exactly. Or be there when the inspector is.

I'm not directing it at you. It's just there a couple inspectors in my area that just have to find something. Failing that, they start inventing violations. And that's a waste of time for both of us. For the most part, the inspectors here are pretty decent folks to work with.

Although it's not required, I try to be present at every inspection I schedule.

OK, here's one: I was working on a retail store that Bob (Iwire) was running. He comes over and says "The worms ate into his brain" (from that Pink Floyd song??) and then continues on to where he was going.

He's quite amusing sometimes. :)

We also know that fridays goes easy, you want easy day,and any tags get added to the dreaded monday.Most of the time i could care less about the inspection.My jobs are ready and to code to my best.Anything you find likely is minor and you say fix.If more than that you have helped me catch a real problem i missed.I actually enjoy seeing you,helps me to know i did it right.
 
"Can't" is not in our vocabulary.

After numerous tries you don't succeed, have some dignity, realize it's above your ability and go get a beer.
