Try using a polarity tester instead,or keep one of those ground adapters in your pocket

The latest device we pulled out that would not operate was a Cooper 20a gfci; as I hold it in my hands and try my best I cannot get a plug inserted into it. My techs tell me that P&S are the best ones they have dealt with and have had zero issues from them.
I will have to start keeping track of manufacturer. It may be that all of the problems I have run into are related to Cooper devices.
