Is TC-ER-HL acceptable to run through cable tray in a class 1 div 1 area I believe it is or is it only available in a flexible cord situation?
I want to get away from MC-HL.

Thats what I did I just wanted to confirm im seeing that right it can be used now even if you dont need it for flexible connections is how I interperet it havent had to do it since 2017 so i believe it changed correct?! In other words i can run it everywhere in cable tray in a class 1 div 1 area let me know if thats how you interpret it.

In other words as long as I service and maintain it and its in an industrial plant not exposed to physical damage i can use it?

While the rule does not use the exact works, It would be my opinion that the facility that the cable is installed in would have to comply with the definition of Supervised Industrial Installation as found in Article 100.
