My daughter just bought a condo in Scottsdale and wants to add a Tesla gen 2 charger which draws up to 48 amps. She sent me a picture of her panel and there is plenty of connected load already. Do I dare add a 2-pole 60 amp breaker to this? She's checking but from what I gather there's no main breaker at the panel and I'm pretty sure it's a 100 amp service. Where she lives that AC rarely takes a rest... nervous. If nothing else I could give her a dedicated 20amp receptacle and put it on a GFCI breaker, not ideal but it's an option.
