i agree, the old forum was much easier to navigate. as with all things, change is always enivetable. we'll just have to bite the bullet & get used to it.

Re: The old forum format was better

I agree, the old forum was better. It took me 20 minutes to re-register on this old computer with the 9600 baud connection -LOL. I was so shaken I started a parallel thread about it so the confusion has already begun. If I were a moderator, I would be here all night just trying to navigate the site, and would probably not be answering too many questions because of it.

Has anyone noticed that the graphics (like hot topic flames) are cheesier too? I just don't understand the reason for the change.

I think the people that design web sites forget that a lot of us are still on dial up connections and will be for a while. :(

Understandably they want to do a good job and use the latest bells and whistles, and when they look at what they have done it works great because it's already in their hard drive, or they are on a fast connection.

Now if they had to navigate thru a bunch of screens on dial up I think they would be frustrated too.

I Wire, Did I hear patronage job and Massachusetts in the same sentence? Can't be! I think this board is a little tough to navigate as are all the boards I have been on. But a little patience and time and it will all be figured out. I hope!

This change was a stroke of genius. Right. I can't take anymore of this, I'll stop and check this out in a couple of weeks and hope it improves.
