Excellent idea.
It's the correct response when you're out of your depth and have nothing constructive to add. Shame that it took you so long to appreciate that.

OK. I've thunk.
I have no recollection of anything you posted that you stated would improve the system.
Now, I'm an old codger and perfectly willing to accept that I might have missed or forgotten some gem of information, a nugget, you might have posted that would have enhanced the performance of this particular system and help me do my job better.
If you have, forgive me for having missed it.
Perhaps you would be so kind as to either reiterate it or advise me where I might find it.
