I went to table 300.5 column 4. I’m just seeing if I’m missing anything but it’s pretty clear. Not sure if there is anything else. I’m just curious I’m running a 60 amp circuit to a shed and was going to install direct burial cable. I was wondering can I go 12” if I have that circuit on a 2 pole 60 amp gfci breaker?

No, the 12" depth is only for a GFCI-protected 120v circuit, 20a max.

For the minimum depth of 6", you need RGS conduit, or a 2" concrete cover.

Be careful with your wording. It sounds like you are running a FEEDER not a branch circuit. Also your circuit would be rated 240V. Consider if you need the 60A

You'll need to go down a minimum of 24" to the top of the direct burial conductors.
