folded back then another slight twist to ensure good connectivity and then apply my red B cap..
That's always rubbed me a little wrong, for some reason. I imagine the U-turn causing less contact pressure between the wirenut spring and the rest of the wires. I prefer using a separate piece as the pigtail.

The post count is 2 because I relocated the other post and sent a PM advising that the first few posts have to be approved by a moderator before they appear in the forum.

You'd be suprised after you did a few. The bent over conductor meshes nicely when sqeezed in place with linemans
