can anyone direct me to thread? for a pvc riser 6" above ground to 4'section of steel conduit into bottom of meterbase, for bonding of this short section requirements. hope this makes sense? THANKS GEO

I think you may be refering to Exception #2 in Section 250.86 of the NEC.

What kind of fitting is being used at the meter enclosure? Bonding requirements for your question is in 250.92(B).

Just a question, why is the pvc beging changed to steel above ground? If it is becuase of concern for physical damage, shouldn't the steel extend to the depth required by Table 300.5? 300.5(D)(1) seems to say so.

THANKS unknown why it was changed.would liked to have seen steel 90 below ground it would not be an issue.usually these questions and answers are somewhere in here .THANKS AGAIN
