Rambo Joe said those conductors look too small for 500s
If cable ampacity is the same as termination temperature, then #500.AL would be smallest allowed

Follow up. The wrong crimp dies were used when terminating the feeder conductors. Some of the lugs were so loose they were able to be twisted the conductor out of the lugs. Some proper training and following NFPA 70B would have prevented this from happening. Just glad we caught this before things got worse. Thanks for everyone's feedback.
