Is it necessary to use those big antishorts with greenfield flex?

It's been so long since I've seen those in the field that at one point I wasn't sure they even existed and thought I had imagined them.

Just as an FYI - I would give 300.4(G) some consideration (the last paragraph mostly) when using FMC. While it does not call out the need for "insulating busing" like you would see in Section 320.40 for Type AC Cable but 300.4(G) does call for the option of a separation via insulating material....theoretically the same concept applies for FMC when installing conductors 4 AWG and larger insulated conductors.

Just some additional thoughts on it...
