Usually barns are not heated ....there are parts of the barn that are heated ..is bathroom and tack rooms with doors that close ....I'll take couple pics and post them ..
here is pics from the "INDOOR" riding area this is new bulilding in the last 2 yrs .. no horses are boarded in this area/building .. one picture shows the observation area ..that is a heated area and under there is bathrooms and laundry room

That all depends on the intended use of the barn. One like you are dealing with in this thread - probably not. Beef and dairy usually not, aside from the milking parlor and other working areas, swine or poultry buildings often are heated. Horses - some live better than humans so it really depends.
