Ain't that a beaut!!

I claim no affiliation to the situation.

I only took a picture of it.

I couldn't believe my eyes.

Man!

Up close, Stan looks ticked! (Not that I blame him...)

Thanks for the correction.

How about the other three items?
I'll second George's thanks.

I, too, have a couple items involving the Archives.

Respectfully,

Webmaster, is there any progress on the old PM's?

Roger

After extensive testing I find it is not possible to correctly convert PMs from the old forum to the new but you can now access them on the old forum here...

http://www.mikeholt.com/cgi-bin/codeforum/ultimatebb.cgi

Links to post in the old forum will now work but may cause some confusion so I am working on a way to clearly indicate when users are viewing posts on the old forum. Posting on the old forum is no longer possible.

I will be looking into the archives next.

Is there a way to view all recent posts in all forums without going back and switching forums?

When you visit the forum, click the 'View posts since last visit' link at the top right. This will show all the posts since your last visit.

Thanks for your replies.
Is it OK to use the information found on this web forum by printing it?
Is there an option to use printer friendly format?

Depends on what you intend to use it for. This is a free exchange of opinions and experiences. You are free to learn whatever you can from anything posted by anyone. But nothing posted on this Forum is to be considered to be the opinion of the Forum owner, Mike Holt. You don't get to say, "I can do it this way because Mike Holt's Forum approved it," or anything even vaguely like that. Also, you don't get to use any statements from any member in any type of legal dispute. Nothing posted on this Forum is the opinion of an "expert witness."

I asked the Webmaster that question. His answer is that the new version of the Forum software does not include that feature. He also said that it should not be necessary, as most browsers have a method for printing web pages.

Update....

Update....

This forum application has already been compromised and newer versions have been released to fix the problems. Rather than upgrading and making all the requested modifications once again, only for it to be compromised again, we are moving to a better supported forum with many of the features you all require standard. This means future upgrades will be seamless and we can get them installed much faster.

The transition to the new application will take place over the next few days and this forum will be periodically unavailable during those times. I have a very good idea of what you all need, like and dislike so immediately after the new application goes live, I will begin the fine tuning.

Thanks for your patience and understanding. It's all for the better!

:D Thanks for the heads up, Joe.

Good fortune on the rollout and implementation.

I'm sorry to hear about the "compromise" of the current application.
