A solid state speed control for a fan. The symbol is an interpretation of an SCR, the main electronic power component in something like that. Think solid state dinner.

Solid state dinner:
Roasted SCRs on a bed of grilled PCBs, served with a capacitor electrolyte demi-glaze and a ribbon cable pasta sprinkled with fried transistors. Desert is a frozen CPU with flaming SMPS sauce. I recommend the Cabinete whine to go with it.
