What Is This Thing?

A friend took a picture of this. He said there was a 3/4" nipple that fed from an adjacent panel. I did a search and could only come up with an amplifier, radio thing a ma jig.

It is Manufactured by the David Bogen Co out of Paramus, NJ. Its a Model PS-1

It's either an amplifier for the PA system (Bogen is all I have ever put in schools here). Or someone here may correct me but I believe that Bogen made a master clock system that sent a time correction pulse over the ac lines. I know Simplex did.

OK I appriciate everyone posting all those other sites, but here at work I'm limited to what I can view, so is it an amp?

Based on the description in Bob's link, it is actually the power supply as it appears that the amps are contained within each remote station.

Either way, odd find in a home. Usually used in schools for classroom intercoms. My old elementary school had that system.
