I know I am but what am I? I'm rubber, I'm glue, what I say bounces off me and sticks to me. :grin:BryanMD said:Norb's (1793) signature says it all:

There are some good posts here sometimes on the value of good employees and/or good companies to work for. I have learned, just by having a license, that having a license makes you no better than of an electrician, it just opens more opportunities. And some of my favorite posts here are those rejoicing in passing their tests. I hope to see a large portion of this poll to be non-licensed field workers, because that means that there are still those out there going the extra effort to learn. Not everbody is meant to or will be able to achieve "license holder" or "company owner" but most of the time it is the dedicated workers that keep good companies going.
Edit to add: Oh yeah, I am not the owner but I hold the company license.

I am in the same boat. Fortunatly I am faster than speeding carpenters, am able to leap tall plumbers in a single bound, I am all terrain equiped and able to multi-task.I am cost effective, ergonomically designed and enviromentally friendly, and like mdshunk I am able to pull wires with one hand and hold my cell phone with the other and tell people all day long that I'll get back to them!!BryanMD said:Norb's (1793) signature says it all:

Poor guy. Wanna trade spots, I'm still a owner/license holder of a thriving ( ) one man shop.....charlie said:I'm disappointed. I used to be owner/partner & license holder but let my license go, folded my business, and retired from an electric utility. I guess I just can't vote.:smile:
