wiring method for 125W (per channel) speaker amp

Yeah, the placebo effect works to the advantage of purveyors of audiophile gear as well. Want a US$5,000.00 six foot 120VAC power cable? How about a US$450.00 wooden volume knob for your power amplifier? I have seen ads for both, and both ads promised an improvement in system sound.
The wooden volume knob does increase sound quality. With metallic knobs, Electrical charges from the body are transferred to the audio equipment and cause capacitive aberrations that circulate in the silicon controlled rectifiers and field effect transistor pre-gain loop. This results in an inductively coupled third harmonic on the output stage which causes mid frequency instability.

Did you write the script for the Encabulator video?

Hey, that's some really good PSMJ (PseudoScientific Mumbo Jumbo)! :D

Good idea to ohm out custom speakers always, but 8ohm always seems to ring out less than 6 and 4 around 3... good advice for op, (not larry)
14awg is more than enough, so is 16awg..
The impedance at audio frequencies is often a factor of 2 or more higher than the DC resistance of the coil. You want to keep the DC resistance low to improve efficiency and potentially frequency response.

What's just as much fun are the "Official Audio Special Fiber Cables!" (Don't be fooled into using computer fiber cables!)
It's all little dots of light-- and "audio fibers" are still sending digital signals! Computer cables at $10/100 feet are just fine!

Keeps those low bass notes from jiggling the copper particles in the wires...
You obviously know nothing about high end audio. It's to prevent the electrons in the speaker wires from escaping out onto the floor. Electrons are very afraid of heights, and even a fraction of an inch is a tremendous height compared to the size of the typical electron. :D
