I want to run #10awg thwn-2 in 3/4 conduit from inverter to panels.
Question: southwire labeling on wire is thhn/thwn
My understanding of this labeling is in dry conditions the rating is 90C
and in wet location thwn is 75c.
The 2008 code requires conductors for electrical solar must have a wet rating of 90c.
My electrical supplier showed me specs from southwire and says the rating is for 90c. Eventhough the labeling shows thwn.
#8 awg in the same wire does have labeling as thhn/thwn-2
Question does anyone have any experience with this labeling issue?
