If it is a real problem and she isn't too hard up for cash, build her a nice custom Faraday Cage bed. A nice four post bed with copper mesh curtains and mesh overhead and under the matress wouldn't be too hard. Grounding it all and making sure there is overlap might be a little tricky, but it shouldn't be too bad. It might even become the new trend.

Such screening is indeed used to build "screen rooms" to block electric fields from equipment under test. Could also be used for insect screens, but it might turn green with time.
