How to support DLO - Diesel Locomotive Cable when run the cable on roof or run overhead, inside industrial central plant? (2) sets of 3#500KCM.

How long are the runs? Is there anything overhead that these can be attached to?
vary from 50' to 200', this is industrial space, there are other conduits to machine overhead, try to meet code for support...

Those large zip ties that HVAC monkeys use for ductwork comes to my mind. Either strapped to bar joist or steel or use a two-hole conduit strap to hang it on if it's a wood structure

Given the fairly heavy weight of that cable and the amount of labor that would be required to hang it I would opt for the floor option with a temporary cover placed over it.

I've run miles of these cables for load bank testing and the last thing you want to do is try and suspend this stuff in the air if you can avoid it.
1. Have you suspended this type of cable inside the building? which equipment did you use to hang them?

2. If running them on floor using southwire product you sent… what is the interval contractor need to secure the cable? every 6 feet or 10 feet?

1. Hanging we would use a Victor split or a strut strap to an existing rack.

2. On the floor just gravity.
