208 three phase

208 a phase A 10 amps phase B 5 amps neutral amps = ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

The mnemonic to find neutral current, assuming unity power factor for all phase currents:
"Someone spilled SOS, in the house. To remove it, and have None left, we'll SOP it up."

SOS = sum of squares, sounds like sauce
SOP = sum of products
N for None = Neutral current
Remove = subtract
The house = the square root sign

In = sqrt(Ia^2 + Ib^2 + Ic^2 - (Ia*Ib + Ib*Ic + Ic*Ia))

4 phase lasagna
Now that sounds awesome...
Btw, americas test kitchens recipe uses cottage cheese instead of ricotta- and it works very well.. doesnt deteriorate like ricotta. Make sure to use hand cubed real low moisture mozz as well. Too much starch in preshredded.
We are slow cooking st. louis style pork ribs...

Two phase conductors from a wye source and a neutral are not really single phase, they are 3 phase with two different voltages so it doesn't form the equilateral triangle we are used to, but it still is a triangle, so it's 3 phase, and you can turn it back to regular vanilla 3 phase just using transformers

Somewhere, the OP is smoking a cig......after tossing an apparent grenade in a foxhole, then waiting for the drama. Amazing.

Maybe it's too much time in engineering as opposed to EC, but loose ends are a no-go. UNITS! And you define everything, so there can be no question. A=10, B=5, C=0. Thank you..... For those that say, "it's not defined, so it's 0", that is what we call ASSUMING. We don't do that here! Even though common sense might point otherwise, it's about the paperwork.

At an early age, I learned units are important. People say I was driving 55 but got pulled over. More to that, driving in CanUHDuh with a USA car doing 55mph in a 55kph zone. Cross the T's.

I have not tried this formula yet. But I got this video from another thread. It basically says polar coordinates with sine and cosine and run it through the Pythagorean theorem. I made an ugly spreadsheet and it works. 8.66 amps. Unfortunately I did not make it that far in math.

Can somebody more mathy than I explain if the SOS/SOP formula above is also correct?

It was an AI question on FakeBook. Seen it earlier this week.
