Can we agree that if i have a second or even 3rd 20 amp branch circuit for additional receptacle branch circuits that no other receptacles from other rooms can be on these circuits ?

I believe that after you met the minimum any other circuit can go any where you want it. I might be wrong but I don't see anything in the NEC that would require these extra circuits to stay in the laundry.

" any other circuit can go any where you want it."

"I" say Yes, if these are "other" circuits.

"extra circuits to stay in the laundry."

"I" say Yes, they must stay in the laundry. 210.11(C)(2).

Authors note. Other = other than laundry circuits. Extra = in addition to.

Mike only one 20 amp circuit is required for the laundry. where In the NEC would it stop me from pulling a extra circuit for a receptacle for general purpose that could be used to iron with then feed a GFCI just outside the back door off this extra laundry circuit? I think if the code minimum is reached and it meets all other codes there is nothing that would disallow it.
