There are going to be 4 of these batteries to a skid and they will be places on a battery rack. Id the skid is placed next to the battery rack what is used to place/lift these HEAVY batteries on the rack? Thanks
I have never seen batteries that did not come with extensive installation manuals, including recommendations on how to unpack, rig and move them. Actually I have never installed batteries where the specifications and po did not include all of the above.
IF the terms "Lead Exposure in Construction" and OSHA are new to you, you are in need of serious education.
I have worked on data centers and power plants where tested the level of lead in the blood of the installation crews before and after moving and connecting battery banks.
If your an estimator you should be aware that there is lots of MHs in the job need to comply with safety rules and regs. It ain't like getting a battery at WalMart and sticking it in your Dodge.
IF you ain't reading the manufactures literature and talking with the tech rep your headed for trouble.
