But I want to use the green screws.

'Cause - it's purdy!
and everybody else does,
and I think I'm supposed to,
and the inspector thinks so too,
'Cause we was tought that way.

I sometimes miss AC, I installed a lot in the 80s doing condos.
The comments from Iwire and infinity make it sound like type AC is not acceptable but as far as I know it is still an acceptable wiring method. If you think not show me where in the code it's not.

Neither Bob nor I were saying that AC is not longer acceptable. Just that it's on the way out. Seems like more and more engineers are specifying MC cable instead of AC cable. Personally from an installers perspective I prefer AC cable. Not having to terminate an EGC at every box, panel etc. or installing bonding jumpers to devices is a huge labor savings.
