Last 2 houses I did were:
2,416 sq ft : $8,100.00
2,282 sq ft: $10,585.00
(Custom homes)

If you work by yourself, it's not a bad gig.
Usually adds up to about 5-6 days rough wiring & 3-4 days on the finish.
(2-weeks of work per house)

Those $300 a house contractors can take all the work they want. I work for myself and mostly by myself. I'm probably doing it all wrong but mostly it's about pride in my work. If you can wire a house in one hour no matter how many guys you have in there it can't be done in a neat workmanship manner.I've seen some $450k houses that look like a bunch of clowns wired them and thats probably what you get for $300. I go to these homes to finish the basments and just can't belive what they get away with. I would be ashamed to have the work inspected.
