I did. This was a new sub division for a huge gated community by a major nationwide builder.

Scenario they were going to set 4 modular office trailers, the kind that you can chose 2 end units, 3-2 end units and a middle get the picture???Up to 6 total. Each unit has no associated wiring with the others just bolted together. Each as a separate 100 panel.Since we had a pile of 200 amp t poles I had the guys set one for each modular and pipe to them (they wanted room for expansion for other expected trailers). The EI passed the inspection. The POCO comes and says that since the drops would pass over the top it violated their rules. No biggy, they set another pole off to the side re feed the T poles and good to go right ????? NOT !!!!! Here comes the Building dept. Same kind of thing you can`t have more than one service to a single structure.

Resolution was to tear out the T poles,re pipe to each from a single 400 amp T pole service. The whole thing was just plain stupid !!!!!Then iy got better the building dept then decided to classify this construction trailer as a commercial BUILDING and wanted exit lighting, emergency lighting Oh and also handicapped access ?????? What a farce.

Why is it a farce to require code mandated safety, as for handicap ramps this gets crazy sometimes, but rules are rules.

I have been going to a building for 26 years 12 handicap parking spaces, the regular parking is full ALWAYS, no parking. In 26 years I have never seen a car parked in the handicap spaces.
